
Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to bookings made directly with La Molineta and forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Bookings made through other platforms are subject to that platform's own cancellation rules.
If you cancel your booking
The following refunds apply, based on how far before your check-in date you cancel:
- 60 or more days before arrival — full refund of all sums paid.
- Between 30 and 60 days before arrival — 50% refund.
- Within 30 days of arrival — no refund.
How to cancel
To cancel, please email us at bookings@molineta.com. The cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your request, and any refund due is calculated from that date.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are made to the original payment method via Stripe and typically reach you within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
Unpaid balance
For bookings paid by deposit, the balance is due within 14 days of our payment request (sent approximately 3 months before arrival). If the balance is not paid by its deadline, the booking is cancelled, the dates are released, and the deposit is non-refundable. This is separate from a voluntary cancellation.
Rescheduling and goodwill
We are always happy to discuss moving your dates as an alternative to cancelling — just get in touch and we'll do our best to find dates that work. And if you do need to cancel, we will always try to re-let your villa for your original dates; where we are able to, we will usually refund what you paid for those nights as a goodwill gesture, less a small administration fee. This is offered at our discretion and is not guaranteed.
If we have to cancel
If we must cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer alternative dates where possible or a full refund of all sums paid, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
